Don't you hate when you realize time is passing by too quickly? The past two months have gone by so fast. Especially the past few weeks. I'm starting to get really worn out from all the excitement and constant activity. I just got back from a nine day trip in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland yesterday... So at the current time I feel like I should be sleeping instead of writing a research paper (or spending time on here). Germany is very pretty. I didn't want to leave. I was quite happy over there. My only complaint was they talked too quickly; I had no idea what they were saying. I only know a small bit of German so I'm glad they all knew

I'm excited for the new year. 2008 has been nice. I will always think of it fondly. Many amazing things have happened this year. It finally snowed in Texas. I've figured out what I want to do with my life. I've made many new friends. I've learned how to sing an entire song in German. Obama is going to be president. I got to watch Michael Phelps win his eighth gold medal at the 2008 Olympics on my birthday. Many good things... but I'm also glad that it's almost over. And in a few days I'll look back on 2008, like I do when I think of ex-boyfriends, there were good times but I would never want to go back. I'm stoked for 2009. I've decided to

I have been praying for snow for weeks. I have never gotten used to the idea of Christmas lights without snow. Every time I say something about snow, someone says, "It's not going to snow in Texas. Seriously forget about the snow, woman." I told them it was going to snow this year, even a just a few flurries. Well it snowed in Houston, Texas at 3:50pm on 10/12/08. I have seen snow in Texas with my own eyes. I can die happy now.
